1. Data Protocol Overview

The REN system requires specific data points to enforce the accountability contract. We operate on a principle of "Minimal Necessary Surveillance." We collect only what is required to verify your identity, process your financial commitment, and validate your daily standards.

2. Information We Collect

Identity Data: When you initiate a protocol via Google Authentication, we receive your email address, name, and profile image.

Financial Data: All payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full credit card number on our servers. We retain only the transaction history and subscription status required to enforce the contract.

Usage Data: We track your interactions with the dashboard (e.g., login times, task completion) to determine if you have breached or fulfilled your daily contract.

3. Content Confidentiality

We recognize that your protocol contains deeply personal reflections. The following data points are strictly private and viewable only by you within your authenticated session:

  • Statement of REN: Your personal manifesto and reason for being.
  • Standards: The specific habits and metrics you define for yourself.
  • Journal Entries: Your daily written reflections and logs.

This content is stored securely in our database and is not shared, sold, or manually reviewed by system administrators.

4. Third-Party Processors

The system relies on secure third-party infrastructure to operate. By using REN, you acknowledge that your data passes through:

  • Supabase: For secure database hosting and authentication management.
  • Stripe: For payment processing and financial security.
  • Resend: For the delivery of system notifications and alerts.
  • PostHog: For analyzing system performance and user behavior patterns.

5. Data Retention

Your data is retained for as long as your contract is active. If your account is terminated or ascended, we retain historical records for legal compliance and to prevent re-entry exploitation.

6. Security of Transmission

We employ industry-standard encryption (TLS/SSL) for all data in transit. However, no digital transmission is strictly impenetrable. You acknowledge the inherent risk of digital interaction.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to request a copy of the data the system holds on you. You may also request the deletion of your account; however, this will be treated as a voluntary termination of your contract, and re-entry may be restricted.
